2021 CJ Cup Betting Preview

(WAGER)
— Another week of excellent golf stays in Las Vegas, as the CJ Cup boasts top talent to contend. Many golfers are coming off of well-deserved rest, while others are returning after a solid few rounds after last week's event.

One particular golfer to watch out for is Sungjae Im (-30.040), who stole the show at the Shriners Children's Open. He will be among top-level talent and challenge golfers that have struggled recently.

Tournament Details

Date: Oct 14–17, 2021

Course: The Summit Club

Watch on: GOLF

Purse: $9,750,000

Betting Overview

The limited field for this event happens to showcase many top-level golfers. For example, Dustin Johnson, Justin Thomas, and even Louis Oosthuizen are here to make some noise.

The Summit Club will be hosting this event for the first time, so it will be interesting to see how golfers respond to this course instead of the one typically played in South Korea. As a Par 72 and 7,431 yards, golfers will need to capitalize on strong iron play and birdie putt opportunities.

Head to Head Matchup to Watch

Tony Finau (-25.659) and Rory McIlroy (-26.751) lead the way for the most interesting duo. However, Dustin Johnson could have a thing or two to say about it.

Finau is aiming to get back within the top five in the rankings, especially after dropping to 10th place. Furthermore, Mcllroy was once top five but now sits at 14th and is aiming at restoring this.

Golfers Who Could Win

Justin Thomas (-30.394) won this event back in 2019 and in 2017. However, this was at a different course in Vegas in 2019, and the one in 2017 was back in South Korea. Nonetheless, he competed well enough to win in two different locations, and he could do it once again here.

Sungjae Im (-30.040) is coming off a stellar victory at the Shriners Children's Open, where he won with a -24 to lead by four strokes. He definitely has the best momentum coming into this event.

Potential Winning Pick

Collin Morikawa (-31.555), who happens to be a member of this particular club, enters this event with compelling odds. He also ranks third in the world golf rankings and is a top contender to take the number one spot at some point.

In addition, Morikawa landed a victory at the Open Championship and at the WGC-Workday Championship last season. He even put up an excellent debut at the Ryder Cup of 3-0-1, which could show up here against fellow rivals on the European team.

I never understood sports betting. My brother is great at this, and I .. I am focused on bitcoin casinos, check my blog The risk is everywhere, but I like the fact that I have the opportunity to earn crypto in a lightweight version. I am sure that many would change sports for online gambling if they compared the benefits.
