To celebrate the groundbreaking, a ceremony was held which was attended by Taylor Morrison’s Southwest Florida division leadership team as well as members from Pope Properties, Waldrop Engineering, and Ryangolf. Other attendees included golf course designer, Chris Wilczynski; Commissioner, Vanessa Baugh; and Senior Vice President of Lakewood Ranch Communities, Laura Cole.
Designed by award-winning architect and veteran course designer Chris Wilczynski, ASGCA, in conjunction with Ryangolf Corporation, the 18-hole golf course is expected to be completed in late first quarter/early second quarter of 2020.
The golf course is planned to feature stunning views and tee locations for all players to make it both friendly and challenging. Each fairway will be unique while being fun, playable, and aesthetically beautiful. The course will have six sets of tees and play from 6,900 to 3,600 yards.
