17th Annual MLRC Tournament Women’s Golf Day
(SHELTON, Wash.) – Start your golf season with anticipation and for a good cause at Salish Cliffs Golf Club – The No. 2 ranked golf course in Western Washington by Golf Digest – by registering to play in the 17th Annual Squaxin Island Tribe Museum Library and Research Center Tournament (June 4) and inaugural Women’s Golf Day event (June 5).
MLRC Tournament
The MLRC Tournament is Salish Cliffs’ largest event of the year, raising funds to help preserve artifacts and cultural experiences at the Squaxin Island Tribe’s nearby Museum Library and Research Center. Players can sign up as a four-person team for the scramble-format event that features nearly $200 in tee prizes per player, as well as a catered banquet and awards ceremony. The tournament is Monday, June 4 with a 10 a.m. shotgun start.

Women’ Golf Day
Salish Cliffs will host Women’s Golf Day as an official location site on Tuesday, June 5 from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Women’s Golf Day is a global golf initiative, launched in 2016, to introduce women of all ages to the game and encourage existing female golfers to “tee it up” in a fun and highly inclusive environment. The afternoon’s activities include a swing clinic, nine-hole round, wine tasting and hors d’oeuvres. Attractively priced registrations are just $49 per person.

Located on the South Sound in Shelton – 15 minutes from Olympia, one hour from Seattle and two hours from Portland – Salish Cliffs will host an array of events this season:

- Couples Clinic (three class series starting May 16)
- Cascade Golfer Cup (June 2)
- Museum Library and Research Center Tournament (June 4)
- Women’s Golf Day (June 5)

Recurring events include Ladies Night Wine & Nine clinics, Academy Club and Salish Cliffs Golf League outings. Many of these events can be extended with a stay in the newly renovated hotel tower at Little Creek Casino Resort.
