One Year Later: Zero Friction Receives High Praise for the DistancePro GPS Glove

(OAK BROOK TERRACE, IL) - Zero Friction, maker of technologically advanced performance golf products, unveiled the Zero Friction DistancePro GPS glove nearly one year ago at the PGA Fashion and Demo Experience in Las Vegas.

The Zero Friction DistancePro GPS Glove was debuted in 2016 as a groundbreaking, one-of-a-kind product; and sports writers from respected publications agree.

“The beauty of this product is that you don’t have to carry around yet another gizmo on the course,” said Gary Van Sickle of The Morning Read.

“When it comes to cool new products that are hitting the market, this is about as handy as it gets – a better grip and a distance gauge all in one,” wrote Eric Matuszewski, contributor for Forbes.

Powered by Bluetooth, the readout gives distances to the front, center and back of the green on over 36,000 golf courses programmed worldwide. The GPS device sits conveniently on the glove flap and weighs less than half an ounce.

“After wearing it for a few minutes, I forgot it was there,” said Jeff Ritter of Golf.com.

Zero Friction first entered the golf glove market in 2015 and has continued to evolve. Zero Friction has retained the fifth position in market share for golf gloves with both on course and off course retailers in the U.S. for the past two years according to Golf Datatech.

“Zero Friction makes gloves and does it very well,” said Tim Baines of the Ottawa Sun.

This summer a new 60-second commercial -- which can be viewed HERE -- was produced by The Golf Channel. The commercial highlights the benefits of the DistancePro GPS glove and offers buyers a free dozen ZF Tour Spin Golf Balls with each purchased glove.

“Golfers who want the benefits of a GPS-based, distance-measuring device but who don’t want to carry an extra gadget will love the Distance Pro GPS Glove,” said David Dusek of Golfweek.

“The DistancePro GPS Glove is the convenient combination of a glove which, we wear anyway, and a distance measuring device,” wrote Ed Travis of The A Position.
