Ontic Golf Brings 27 Years of 'Leading-Edge' Putter Design to the PGA Show

Ontic Golf is set to reveal a sneak peek into what's in store this year for this state-of-the-art putter company

(Grand Haven, MI) - The excitement within Ontic Golf will again be exhibited at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, January 22-24. Attendees will have their first preview into a series of new unveilings; the highlight will be the new Signature Series II Tour Blade putter hot off the CNC Machine Centers.

Ontic Golf experienced a year of expansion in 2013 with several positive developments to the company, its putter lines, its putter training system, and X-Fit custom fitting systems. 2014 will bring the launching of their new web site and a new focus on media and marketing programs, Tiffany Litherland, Director of Media & Marketing Relations, Industry Media Relations and Marketing Specialist, will develop the web site and head up the Ontic ecommerce group.

Also in 2014, Ontic plans to rebuild the Ontic Golf Ambassador Program with a select group of Golf Teaching Professionals. The Ambassador Program will be under the direction of our PGA team with the emphasis on building independent Ambassadors promoting the Ontic Putting Instructional System, Ontic Putters, and the Ontic X-Fit custom fitting System. The Ambassador Program will be a win/win for those they select to participate.

“The Ontic Team has grown,” says Founding CEO Bernie Pinder, “We now have several new additions to the Ontic family including Barry Goldstein VP, Top 25 Instructor; Andy Harris VP, Former PGA Tour Player and now PGA Tour Representative; and Australian Tour Professional, Nicky Litherland, Ambassador. They join David Pinder, Sr. VP, QC; Sr. VP, Kevin Arnold, PGA; and Sr. VP Greg Ortman PhD, PGA."

In 2013 the Ontic team proudly congratulated Carly Ray Goldstein, Barry’s daughter, as she won her 100th tournament of her young career; her final three winning tournaments were won with the Ontic Signature Series I Tour Blade Putter. Carly Ray’s career continues to show unwavering promise as she plays collegiate golf for the LSU team.

Since the Incorporation of Ontic Golf in 2003, several designs have been gracing the greens in the hands of amateurs and professionals golfers alike; the well-known PGA Tour player, Retief Goosen, used the Ontic Golf M-Pulse Merge Putter in the PGA Championship and Texas Valero Open.

“Making putters started as a hobby in 1987 with the 'groundbreaking' patented DST Sole,” stated Pinder. The DST Sole would become the “Perfect Sole Platform” for the all new putter designs and putter fitting technologies as quickly as Pinder could dream them into reality. Our putter designs lead into a few more patents, including the adjustable M-Pulse Series of putters. Pinder also invented “Putter’s Grail Training System,” and the revolutionary one-of-a-kind X-Fit Putting System, a custom fitting system designed to improve accuracy and consistent puttering regardless of experience. “A player can be fit for exact grip size, length, lie angle, and weight,” says Pinder, “and then rolls a few putts with the X-Fit to get the exact feel for what his or her customer putter will feel like. The whole fitting process now takes only 5 minutes.” Pinder advises that there are a few Teaching Pros and Club Fitters presently using the X-Fit System.

Currently, the Ontic Golf putters are available for both left-hand and right hand golfers and are custom fit for length, loft and alignment. Ontic Golf is accepting international orders. Ontic have expanded into several countries including Canada, Australia, Ireland, Europe, UK, Korea, France, Spain, and Thailand. Interested persons can opt-in to be kept informed of new releases throughout the year. More information can be found on the website at onticgolf.com and at the upcoming Orlando PGA Merchandise Show this month at Booth 1592.
