The Westin Mission Hills Raising Funds for Folds of Honor with Annual Desert Patriot Golf Tournament

Do Some Good While Traveling on Veteran's Day in Greater Palm Springs

(RELEASE) - The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa is honoring Veteran’s Day this year with their 4th Annual Desert Patriot Golf Tournament November 10, 2018. Presented by General Air Conditioning and Plumbing, The Westin Mission Hills will be hosting the event to raise funds for Folds of Honor, a foundation that helps children and spouses of fallen and disabled service members while serving. Players are encouraged to show their appreciation for first responders and military personnel by helping raise funds for this great cause while having some fun at the golf course.

The golf tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. One active duty service member will be paired with every group on the course using a “Drop Out Scramble” format. Event inclusions include tee gifts for all players, silent auctions before and after the event, a Hole-in-One car give away and post event lunch and awards. Team and individual prizes will be awarded.

The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa is home to two award winning golf courses. The Pete Dye Resort Course’s challenging, yet forgiving design and the Gary Player Signature Course’s friendly layout each deliver the finest golf experience in the Greater Palm Springs area. This tournament will be played on the Gary Player Course. Registration fee is $175 per person.
