(BONITA SPRINGS, FL) – Spanish Wells Golf & Country Club – the 27-hole oasis nestled in beautiful Bonita Springs, Fla. – is in the final stages of a $1.5 million renovation expected to raise its popularity to new heights.
“Spanish Wells is thriving as is the $84 billion golf industry,” says Bill Shiles, General Manager. “Golfers are raving about the new elements to the course, all rave about the clubhouse, and new members and guests are lining up to be part of our community vibe.”
Last year, the Spanish Wells Community Association purchased Spanish Wells Golf & Country Club in line with its mission to protect open space and increase home values. Following the acquisition, Billy Casper Golf was retained to operate the club.
In addition to 27 player-friendly holes, Spanish Wells boasts a practice facility featuring an aqua driving range, pitching and chipping area, separate practice area for sand play, and a large putting green. Its 32,000 square-foot clubhouse overlooks the majestic golf course panorama and iconic fountain, and its subtle luxuries create the perfect gathering place for family, friends and neighbors.
A significant update to the clubhouse is the renovated kitchen designed to enhance the culinary experience. Another commitment to quality dining is the recent hiring of award-winning Executive Chef Scott Savage.
As part of its endeavor to create memorable member experiences, Spanish Wells recently launched a diverse programming calendar. Highlights include golf lessons and clinics for all skill levels; dancing events; trivia, karaoke and bingo nights; tennis, bocce and card players associations; daily fitness classes; swimming events; and other athletic and social activities.
Full club, sports and social, social and dining memberships are available.
