Includes RipStixx, StepStixx and other tee/accessory brands
(BRENTWOOD, Tenn.) - PrideSports announced the acquisition of SPL International, a Denver, Colorado based supplier of the RipStixx, StepStixx, TubeStixx and other branded tee and accessory products. The acquisition was completed September 30.
“We are very excited to continue the success that SPL International began over two decades ago,” said John Hohman, Vice President of Marketing, PrideSports. “Steve Lastofka and his team at SPL developed and grew the RipStixx, StepStixx and other golf tee products into an assortment that is recognized and desired throughout the U.S. We look forward to continuing their success and growing the business in the future.”
PrideSports was formed in January 2003 following Pride Manufacturing Company’s purchase of Softspikes, Inc., and its sister company Trisport, Ltd. of England. PrideSports is owned bv Centre Partners, a middle market private equity firmed based in New York, NY.
