Feherty has been described as one of the “funniest men in the game” by Yahoo! Sports and these two shows will mark his sixth and seventh live performances on Golf Channel, and the second time from a Super Bowl host city. As part of the NBC Sports Group, Golf Channel will turn over the theater to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, which is scheduled to also air live on Super Bowl Sunday after the game.
The first episode of Feherty debuted in 2011 as the most-watched premiere for an original series in Golf Channel history, and over the span of four seasons has featured a variety of guests, including golf-loving personalities like former President Bill Clinton, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, five-time NBA MVP Bill Russell, comedic genius Larry David, actors Samuel L. Jackson and Don Cheadle, legendary college football coach Lou Holtz; and a host of golfing greats, including Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson, Greg Norman, Bubba Watson, Rory McIlroy and Ben Crenshaw.
