New York's Brynwood Golf & Country Club anticipates great season

(ARMONK, N.Y.) - Brynwood Golf & Country Club will be open April 1 for the 2013 season. The popular family-oriented club has an active schedule of tournaments, clinics and events planned and is enjoying strong new member interest.

Since Troon Golf took over management of the club three years ago, Brynwood has been very successful redefining the country club experience and attracting area golfers to take advantage of the flexible annual membership categories for families, couples, individuals, executives and corporations. The club also provides a sports membership, which includes access to 9 har-tru tennis courts, the fully equipped Fitness & Health Club, fine dining, a heated pool and a vibrant year-round social calendar.

"We have focused on making Brynwood the type of club that appeals to the entire family," says Josh Lowney, the club's Director of Operations. "Whether it's our golf course with dramatic vistas and challenging holes, our tennis program, the pool or exceptional dining options, we want our members to see and feel the value of being an important part of this club. We offer consistent quality and service and our staff commitment is to providing members with an exceptional experience in a friendly, resort-like environment."

Currently, the approval process is underway for the club's master plan that includes a major renovation of the golf course by renowned architect, Rees Jones, as well as a new clubhouse and luxury residential community designed by the highly regarded architectural firm of Hart Howerton. These anticipated future upgrades of Brynwood's course and facilities have created significant interest in the club for the upcoming season.

New members who take advantage of joining Brynwood by April 30 are not subject to an initiation fee or capital assessments. Memberships are priced from $8,000 and categories include: Family, Couples, Women Executive, Executive, Corporate and Single. Importantly, new members who join in 2013 will receive a credit of $15,000 toward any future initiation.

"Now definitely is the time to join Brynwood," Lowney affirms. "With the approvals process underway for the Rees Jones redesign of the golf course, along with the greater creative vision to transform the club, we all are enthusiastic about Brynwood's very bright future."

Brynwood Golf & Country Club is managed by Troon Golf, the premier global management company of world-class golf courses, golf clubs and resorts. Brynwood is conveniently located in central Westchester County, which makes the club an attractive draw for area residents as well as those who live in Connecticut's lower Fairfield County.
