Little Creek Casino Resort Amenity Receives National Honors Again; Introduces November Green Fees Starting at $59
(SHELTON, Wash.) – Little Creek Casino Resort announced that Salish Cliffs Golf Club has been named to Golfweek magazine’s “Best Resort Courses 2013” list.
Salish Cliffs, located near Olympia and Seattle, debuted at No. 66 on the top-100 roster and was the lone Washington course listed. It was rated the highest of any course that opened after 2010.
Hundreds of U.S. courses were ranked by Golfweek Course Raters based on overall strength of routing, shaping, natural setting, greens, variety and memorable holes, conditioning and maintenance, landscape management and other criteria.
Since its Grand Opening in September 2011, Salish Cliffs has received numerous “best-of” accolades from national golf publications, including Golfweek, GOLF Magazine and Golf Digest. Earlier this year, the Gene Bates-design also became the world’s first Salmon Safe-Certified golf course for its environmental sensitivity and best conservation practices.
“We are honored to be recognized by this esteemed national publication as one of the top courses in America,” said Salish Cliffs Head Golf Professional David Kass, PGA. “We continually strive to improve the overall experience for our resort guests and visitors.”
Salish Cliffs is a par-72, 7,269-yard championship course that provides an intimate setting with 16 of 18 holes encircled by lush forestry. The layout is friendly to players of all levels thanks to five sets of tees, and offers stunning scenery with 360-degree views of Kamilche Valley.
The course is now offering special November rates that start at $59, seven days a week, for MVP Player Card holders, Primetime Players (ages 50 and older), military personnel and hotel guests. The rate includes 18 holes, golf cart, range balls and tax. The regular rate is $64.
Tee times can be booked with a major credit card up to 30 days in advance at www.salish-cliffs.com. Advanced tee-time booking up to 60 days in advance is available for those with confirmed Little Creek Casino Resort hotel reservations by calling the golf shop at 360.462.3673.
Salish Cliffs is located adjacent to Little Creek Casino Resort, which is owned and operated by the Squaxin Island Tribe. The resort recently unveiled the Seven Inlets Spa and Skookum Spirit Cigar and Wine Lounge as part of ongoing hospitality enhancements. The Skookum Creek Event Center regularly attracts headline entertainment acts, such as Gladys Knight, who will perform on Nov. 17.
