Bobby Jones Links Selected to Manage Colonial Country Club

(Atlanta, Ga.) – Prominent Atlanta-based club management company, Bobby Jones Links, has been selected to manage the Colonial Country Club in Thomasville, N.C. Located minutes from the Piedmont Triad, Colonial Country Club is a beautiful club cultivating an active lifestyle and a rich family experience.

Dan Outlaw, President of the Colonial Country Club Board of Directors stated, “Our Board is committed to providing our members with an extraordinary Club experience. I am excited that Bobby Jones Links will bring proven management and efficiency to our daily operations to ensure we meet that goal. I am looking forward to a great partnership.”

Colonial Country Club is a private county club that first opened in 1973. The club features an 18-hole Gene Hamm designed golf course, open for member play year-round. The par 71 course features bermuda greens and 6,600 yards of rolling fairways with 75 well maintained bunkers. The club’s golf course seamlessly blends with its natural surroundings due to Hamm's use of the land's existing topography to provide the character of the course. Club members can also enjoy access to the driving range, golf lessons and a full schedule of tournaments and events.

Additional member amenities include four lighted clay tennis courts, a full-size pool, a separate wading pool for toddlers, and an array of exciting social events catered to members of all ages. Dining options at Colonial Country Club feature an outstanding dining room and bar area, where members enjoy everything from small bites to full-service dinners in a scenic atmosphere.

“We are honored to welcome Colonial Country Club to the Bobby Jones Links family,” said Steve Willy, Co-Founder of Bobby Jones Links. “We look forward to sharing our industry expertise with the Colonial Country Club Board of Directors in order to enhance the club lifestyle and elevate the value of a membership.”
