Woodland Wins US Open for First Major Championship

(CHICAGO) – Gary Woodland secured his first major championship at the venerable 2019 US OPEN at Pebble Beach.

After making the turn with a two-shot lead, Woodland proved his mental tenacity as he embarked upon his biggest achievement. Using his Staff Model Blades, Woodland’s rock-solid iron play led to him being 2nd overall in greens in regulation.

“It’s been a year of learning and progression. To win my first major here at the US Open in Pebble Beach is an unbelievable feeling,” said Woodland. “This course is so tough.
