Nine Troon-Affiliated Courses Named To Golf Digest's Ranking Of America's 100 Greatest Public Courses

(Scottsdale, Ariz.) – Troon, the leader in golf course management, development and marketing is pleased to announce that nine of its affiliated courses have been named to Golf Digest’s prestigious ranking of America’s 100 Greatest Public Courses.  Seven of the courses are Troon-affiliated properties and two, Gamble Sands and Tetherow, are OB Sports-managed facilities.

Troon-affiliated courses named America’s 100 Greatest Public Courses, include:
#22 Kapalua (Plantation) – Maui, Hawaii
#35 Gamble Sands – Brewster, Washington
#37 Pronghorn (Nicklaus) – Bend, Oregon
#38 Fallen Oak at Beau Rivage – Saucier, Mississippi
#49 PGA West (Stadium) – La Quinta, California
#62 Cascata – Boulder City, Nevada
#65 Princeville Makai Golf Club – Kauai, Hawaii
#71 Tetherow Golf Club – Bend, Oregon
#84 Quintero Golf Club – Peoria, Arizona

Troon brands, including Troon Golf, Troon Privé, Troon International, Honours Golf and OB Sports, have 90-plus courses that have been or are ranked on domestic and international Top 100 rankings.

Golf Digest’s America’s 100 Greatest Public Courses is a biennial list based on scores from the publication’s thousands of panelists and golf course architecture enthusiasts. Panelists rate course architecture in seven categories: shot values, design variety, memorability, aesthetics, resistance to scoring, conditioning and ambience.
