New ESPN Service Airs Live PGA TOUR Zurich Classic Action Thursday, Friday
(RELEASE) - Three-time major winner Jordan Spieth and defending PGA TOUR FedEx Cup champion Justin Thomas will highlight two featured groups from the Zurich Classic of New Orleans airing Thursday morning on ESPN+, the first-ever multi-sport, direct-to-consumer premium subscription streaming service from The Walt Disney Company’s Direct-to-Consumer and International group, in partnership with ESPN.
Spieth and Thomas will highlight Thursday morning’s two Featured Groups in the Four-Ball (Better Ball) tournament being played at the TPC of Louisiana course. Teeing off at 8:30 a.m. ET, Thomas will be playing with Bud Cauley against Daniel Berger and Gary Woodland.
Spieth, with Ryan Palmer, will tee off at 8:52 a.m. against Wesley Bryan and Jon Rahm. The Thursday coverage begins at 8 a.m.
On both Thursday and Friday, ESPN+ viewers also will be able to watch coverage from two Featured Holes beginning at 3 p.m. ET – the Par 3 14th hole and the Par 3 No. 17.
ESPN+ will offer golf fans 50 days of coverage from 20 PGA TOUR events, including the RBC Heritage, THE PLAYERS Championship, the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide, WGC-Bridgestone Invitational, the FedExCup Playoffs and more.
