Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course in Northern Virginia Receives National Recognition
(Potomac Shores, Va.) – Potomac Shores Golf Club, the first publically accessible Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course in the Washington, D.C. metro region, has been honored by Golf Digest as one of the “Best New Courses” in the nation for 2014. Potomac Shores opened in May 2014.
Playing at 7,020 yards from the back tees, Potomac Shores’ par-72 layout was described by Golf Digest as “a roller coaster routing on river bluffs.” Located in Potomac Shores, Va., just 30 minutes south of downtown Washington, D.C., Potomac Shores Golf Club is a centerpiece for the 1,920-acre Potomac Shores master-planned community being developed by SunCal along the Potomac River in Prince William County.
