Golf Pride Users Claim 9 out of the Top 10 Spots in Season-Ending Charles Schwab Cup Standings

(SOUTHERN PINES, N.C.) - Power management company Eaton announced that its Golf Pride Grips Division was by far the most successful grip company in this year’s Champions Tour Charles Schwab Cup points race.  In fact, 23 out of Top 30 players (77%) in the final 2014 Charles Schwab Cup standings trusted their games to Golf Pride grips. In addition, 9 out of the Top 10 finishers in the final 2014 Charles Schwab Cup points competition chose to use Golf Pride grips, and not a single one was paid to do so.

Of the 23 players relying on Golf Pride, 13 used a Tour Velvet family model, while three chose the New Decade MultiCompound and three trusted the Tour Wrap 2G.

“Whether it is the PGA TOUR, Tour, LPGA Tour or Champions Tour, the fact holds true that the best players in the world overwhelmingly choose to trust their games to Golf Pride,” said Brandon Sowell, global sales and marketing director for Golf Pride. “The 2014 Champions Tour season was a thrilling one and we’re excited that so many of those memorable moments came from players who choose to play Golf Pride grips.”
