Proceeds from the PGA Memes Challenge go directly to the Play Yellow Foundation
(SAN FRANCISCO, CA.) – Blue Tees Golf, a rapidly growing producer of golf rangefinders and accessories, take great pride in giving back to the community as denoted by their support of the PGA Memes Challenge. The company is a premier sponsor of the PGA Memes Charity Tournament Series that raises money for Play Yellow.
The inaugural PGA Memes was in March of 2020 and since then the non-profit has raised more than $75,000 for the Play Yellow Foundation. Play Yellow, led by Jack and Barbara Nicklaus and the PGA TOUR, is a program designed to raise funds for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals which help to treat 10 million kids every year at local children’s hospitals. The goal is to unite the golf world to help the children.“We started this tournament series to bring more fun to the game, bring all types of golfers and brands together and most importantly to help raise money and awareness to a tremendous cause,” said Travis Miller, Founder of PGA Memes. Not your average charity event, the PGA Memes Challenge has many brand activations, on course challenges and unbelievable prizes for top finishers.
The third of the four PGA Memes Challenge Tournaments will be held on Monday, August 30th at Trump National Golf Club in Los Angeles, CA. Participants pay their entry fee and will have an opportunity to play with influencers from our team like Katie Kearney, Bryan Bros, and more. All proceeds will go directly to the Play Yellow Foundation.
“The PGA Memes Challenge is a FUN way to raise money and save lives. Blue Tees Golf is proud of this sponsorship and its contribution to the Play Yellow program. With two more events scheduled in 2021, they’re more than on pace to crush their original goal of $100,000,” said Drew Koehler, Co-Founder and Head of Business Development of Blue Tees Golf.
