The tournament will be played Feb. 23 on Dye’s Valley Course at TPC Sawgrass, co-designed by Pete Dye and Bobby Weed, in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. Over the years, Pete Dye and Deane Beman have served as co-hosts of the event with Weed. HEAL will serve a light breakfast at 8:00 a.m., followed by the scramble golf tournament at 9:00 a.m. The outing will conclude with an awards luncheon in the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse.

“The significant, extensive work of the HEAL Foundation supports the local autism community through a variety of programs and initiatives,” said Leslie Weed, co-founder of the HEAL Foundation. Bobby and Leslie Weed have a profoundly autistic non-verbal daughter, Lanier.
The HEAL Foundation has granted over $2 million locally, assisting thousands of children, teens and adults through specialized programs, camps, educational enhancements and service dogs, as well as iPads, giving individuals with autism, a voice.
The event will open with the “HEAL Gala” fundraiser, to be held Feb. 22 at the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse. Drinks and dinner will be served in a festive setting with live music, dancing and a live auction. World-renowned performance painter David Garibaldi will be featured, and the 7 Street Band, a top party band, will perform.
“Autism continues to affect large numbers of families,” Weed said, “and the need is dire. Join us in supporting the HEAL fundraiser and our ongoing mission to assist those with autism.”
