(COVINGTON, GA) – Bridgestone Golf – Innovator and manufacturer of premium golf balls, clubs and accessories – introduces the TOUR B XW-1 forged wedges, the company’s most advanced and high-end offerings to date, which will be available at select retailers and online at www.bridgestonegolf.com beginning January 3, 2018.
The latest addition to the ultra-premium TOUR B club lines, the XW-1 Series ($139.99) features classic aesthetics and a teardrop shape. Additional features include:
- Tour Grind Sole – provides increased heel and toe relief, making the XW-1 extremely versatile from all lies
- Parallel Milling Pattern – Ensures exceptional spin and control on approach shots and around the green for ultimate control
- Forged Mass – Similar to the TOUR B X-Blade and X-CB irons, the strategically placed mass behind the impact zone yields incredibly solid feel and response
Bridgestone is offering the XW-1 in two finishes, Black Oxide and Satin Chrome, each of which is available in the following lofts: 50, 52, 54, 56, 58, 60. Only offered in right-handed models at launch, each XW-1 wedge comes stock with the True Temper DG Spinner shaft and Golf Pride MultiCompound grip.

The new XW-1 wedges join a variety of TOUR B products introduced earlier this year, including the XD-3, XD-5 and XD-7 drivers, XD-F fairway woods, XD-H hybrids and X-CB and X-Blade irons. Each is built to the tightest of tolerances using the finest materials availalbe. TOUR B drivers are priced at $699, while fairway woods and hybrids are listed at $399 and $249, respectively. Both the X-CB and X-Blade are $1200 (4-PW).
Bridgestone’s professional staff features 14-time major championship winner Tiger Woods, FedExCup champion Brandt Snedeker, Olympics bronze medalist Matt Kuchar, Masters winner Fred Couples, three-time major champion Nick Price, Bryson DeChambeau, Hudson Swafford and LPGA Tour star Karrie Webb.
