(OAK BROOK TERRACE, IL) - Zero Friction, maker of technologically advanced performance golf products, along with its business partner, Johnny Miller, unveiled its new DistancePro GPS Glove last month at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Fla.
Zero Friction joined the glove market three years ago. Today, the company has a variety of golf gloves on the market including the original Compress Fit glove, Cabretta Leather glove, ZF Storm All-Weather glove, the Johnny Miller Motion-Fit Glove, and the new DistancePro GPS Glove. Zero Friction has maintained the 5th position in the glove market for 24-straight months according to Golf Datatech.
“The Zero Friction brand and our one size compression fit gloves have become well-known in the industry. We had many repeat customers come by, as well as new buyers who wanted to try our products,” said John Iacono, founder of Zero Friction. “The addition of the new DistancePro GPS Glove generated lots of energy as well. Golfers wanted a look at the first navigation system that attaches directly to the back of a golf glove.”
Miller promoted the new glove in the Zero Friction booth for two days during the PGA Merchandise Show, and made a special guest appearance on Golf Channel’s Morning Drive which was broadcast live from the show floor.
Also at this year’s PGA Merchandise Show, the Zero Friction DistancePro Golf Glove took top honors in the Product Ingenuity - Emerging Companies - Misc. Products category of the 24th Annual ING Industry Honors awards program.
