Biennial Event Takes Place Oct. 11-13 in Orlando, Fla.

(FAIRHAVEN, Mass.) – Golf's leading health, fitness and coaching experts from around the world will gather next month in Orlando, Fla., for the fourth biennial World Golf Fitness Summit hosted by the Titleist Performance Institute.

The World Golf Fitness Summit (WGFS), taking place Oct. 11-13 at the JW Marriott Orlando Hotel Grande Lakes, is a three-day educational conference that provides an exclusive opportunity for those training, healing and coaching golfers to learn about the trends, technologies and techniques that are shaping golf's future.
Hosting the event are Dr. Greg Rose and Dave Phillips, co-founders of the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI). Since the doors opened in 2003, Rose and Phillips have developed TPI into the leader in elite player development by combining Titleist's fitting expertise with groundbreaking health and fitness programs to help all players achieve their specific goals. Rose and Phillips also host the television program “Golf Fitness Academy,” which has run on Golf Channel for eight seasons.

"Now more than ever, golf fitness and health are being talked about in golf circles. While you don't have to be fit to play golf, it certainly sets the bar for how good you can become," said Phillips.

"The World Golf Fitness Summit brings together the best trainers, instructors and health professionals to discuss practical applications that all golfers can use to enhance their ability to play the game for a lifetime."

Complete details and registration info can be found on the TPI website at www.mytpi.com/wgfs.
