Troon Selected To Manage Wohali Golf Club In Utah

(Scottsdale, Ariz.)
– Troon, the leader in providing golf and club-related leisure and hospitality services, has been selected to manage Wohali Golf Club in Coalville, Utah. Troon Privé, the private club division of Troon, will oversee club operations, agronomy, retail and membership sales and marketing.

Wohali is a master-planned mountain community located 43 miles northeast of Salt Lake City and just minutes north of Park City. The Club’s 18-hole “Eagle” course traverses a secluded mountain valley while offering views of Lewis Peak. Set at an elevation of 6,500-plus feet, the par-72 layout measures 7,566 yards from the back tees. The Eagle Course is expected to re-open in the summer of 2026, welcoming the golf community to experience Wohali through a 2026 Golf Discovery membership program.

“We look forward to working with ownership to help Wohali Golf Club realize its full potential,” said Troon Vice President of Operations Justin Lake. “The golf course, which opened in 2024, is spectacular, and we are excited to welcome all who are interested to experience Wohali through a 2026 Golf Discovery membership program.”

Wohali was recently acquired by its senior creditor, EB5AN Wohali Utah Fund XV, LP, via a court-approved credit bid.

“Our investors believed in this property from the beginning, and we are committed to seeing it reach its potential. The Eagle Course is a world-class asset, and we look forward to opening it this summer and working closely with Coalville and the local community,” said Mike Schoenfeld of EB5AN Wohali Utah Fund XV, LP.

Eagle Peak Development, led by industry veteran Bobby Masters, is expected to work closely with the project, with a near-term focus on advancing infrastructure and engaging with Coalville and other stakeholders. Eagle Peak Development’s leadership has built and operated more than 15 communities across approximately 25,000 acres and 30,000 residential homes. Its current projects include Bay Creek, featuring Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus signature courses, and Currahee Club, built around a Jim Fazio-designed championship course.

Many have heard of the card counting strategy in blackjack, which allows the player to gain a mathematical advantage over the dealer. In real land-based establishments this technique does work, but the online format has its nuances. In blackjack simulators, the deck is shuffled automatically after each deal using GST, making the score useless. However, in a Live Casino with live dealers, where a real shoe (shoes) is used on 8 decks and an undercut card is set in the middle, the account elements are still applicable.
