Couples Captured 1992 Masters Wearing Ashworth’s Iconic Golfman Logo; World Golf Hall of Famer Will be Outfitted in 2023 Apparel Line that Blends Classic Look with Performance Fabrics

(La Quinta, CA) – On the heels of announcing Ashworth Golf’s return to the US marketplace, Newtimes Group, a global leader of retail supply chain management, today announced World Golf Hall of Famer and 1992 Masters Champion Fred Couples is back as the face of Ashworth Golf.

Couples, who was outfitted in one of Ashworth’s classic polos when he captured the green jacket in 1992, will help reinvigorate the brand as he brings back the iconic Golfman logo when competing on the PGA TOUR Champions and other professional events around the world.

“I am thrilled to be back with Ashworth Golf and once again wearing the Golfman logo as I represent this legendary apparel line,” said Couples.  “Ashworth was right there with me when I won the Masters and it was part of my success during so many memorable victories.  Golfers the world over love this brand.”

“It’s been 30 years since his historic win at Augusta, and Fred is still one of the most popular and respected golfers of all time,” said Eddie Fadel, President, Ashworth Golf. “It’s only fitting that he returns to the Ashworth Golf family as we relaunch the iconic brand in the US with a commitment to quality, style and performance.”

Revered by passionate players since 1987, Ashworth is the original, authentic golf apparel brand, and it is this distinction and extraordinary heritage that sets the brand apart. Backed by a reputation for creating golf clothes that deliver a full range of motion and comfort all day, Ashworth Golf blends classic style with fine yarns and performance fabrics born off an innate understanding of the golfer’s movements.

Couples will be outfitted in a selection of items from the Spring and Fall 2023 lines, all developed to withstand the rigors of the course and the elements, integrating a mix of tradition and innovation, while offering golfers the ultimate in fit, function, style and performance. The new line will feature a modern-day version of the original cotton polos from Ashworth, combining technical fabrics with natural fibers, while offering an authentic yet classic look that meets the demands of today’s discerning golfer at every level of the game. Blending the highest quality cotton with just the right level of performance microfiber enhances fit and all-day comfort, as well as the proper amount of stretch during the golf swing.

Now, thanks to Newtimes Group, the Ashworth Golf brand will have additional resources, and a competitive advantage in supply chain operations.  For more information on Ashworth Golf visit https://us.ashworthgolf.com/, or check out the brand’s social media pages located at @ashworthgolf.

I never thought about what happens to the top golfers after they retire.. Do they become coaches? Is there an age limit for this sport?

This is an unexpected question but .. Why not)) I can not say that I am a professional analyst but I found a good site to get all the necessary information on the inner workings of golf. Here, look here - https://1x.news/ There are not only the results of matches but statistics on the players. I use this when I want to risk my money on sports betting.
