Dan Shepherd Public Relations Retained to Promote Apes Hill (Barbados) in North America

Caribbean Island Golf Resort and Community in Barbados Charting a New Course in Sustainable Luxury Living

(Saint James, Barbados) – Dan Shepherd Public Relations (DSPR) has been retained to provide North American publicity and media relations services for Apes Hill Barbados, the luxury golf resort and real estate community that unfurls across 475 acres amidst nature’s glorious bounty in beautiful Barbados Island.

DSPR has partnered for Apes Hill Barbados with U.K.-based The Azalea Group, the leading European golf, lifestyle, real estate, and hospitality full-service agency.

Apes Hill’s essence emanates from the passion people feel when there. It inspires people who value Mother Nature’s masterworks, delight when playing a trophy golf course by an esteemed architect in one of the world’s most gorgeous places. Feel child-like wonder star gazing atop luxurious perches; demand places where eco-sensitivity is prioritized and practiced.

Cherish the soothing serenity of golden hour island sunsets, covet places where farm-to-table culinary options abound, embrace exclusive retreats where Caribbean inspiration enhances modern elegance, and seek enriching spaces and experiences for individuals, couples, and families.

Ancient gullies and coral caves provide a natural frame for Apes Hill’s timeless modern architecture and range of luxury resort and lifestyle villas overlooking the golf course and Caribbean Sea. Hilltop residences, grand fairway homes, and turnkey courtyard villas integrate environmentally friendly, contemporary options perfectly designed for active, wholesome lifestyles.

“Apes Hill offers a spectacular setting and luxurious lifestyle and amenities amid the tropical splendor of Barbados,” said Dan Shepherd, whose international client resume includes luxury resorts, golf clubs, and / or real estate communities in France, Scotland, Puerto Rico, Kaua‘i, Alberta Canadian Rockies, and throughout the U.S. “With sustainability at the core of the real estate community and talented design teams rendering exquisite dwellings, Apes Hill Barbados is ideal for people who hold dear places where discerning tastes reign.”

A fitness and health club, spa, pools, croquet, hiking and nature trail, farming, fishing, biking, paddle and tennis courts are some of the amenities and activities that are in design and development at Apes Hill Barbados.

Centerpiece of the resort and real estate community is the newly renovated Ron Kirby design golf course. At 1,000 feet above sea level, it is, quite literally, the island’s most elevated golf course. Designed with a commitment to preserving and sustaining its surroundings, the course uses an environmentally friendly turfgrass that cuts the course’s water consumption. The watering that is needed comes from Apes Hill’s rainwater catchment and its turf is naturally resistant to weeds and limited fertilizer use.

The 18-hole par-72 championship level course is set to debut in November 2022. It features deep gullies carving through the fairway with ancient, bearded fig trees and other indigenous fauna. It is a unique, invigorating championship course where large troops of Barbados Green monkeys roam – and the clubhouse bar waits to welcome members and guests with a refreshing drink.

A golf performance and instruction center, lighted driving range, a par-3 short course, an additional 19th hole, and a finely appointed, contemporary clubhouse are planned to complement the championship course.

“Apes Hills will soon unveil Ron Kirby’s exceptional course redesign along with other golf operation amenities,” said Shepherd. “This will set in motion the first phase launch of the luxury offerings to come in the ensuing year, including homes, villas, and other amenities that will pamper and arouse the senses of residents, members and their guests.”
