Junior Golf Hub Launches New ‘College Match’ Feature


Instantly Pairs College Golf Hopefuls with Their Ideal School 

(RIDGEFIELD, Conn.) – Junior Golf Hub (JGH) – the leading online community for junior golfers, their parents and college coaches – announces the launch of its new “College Match” feature, which helps members of get started with the college golf programs that best fit their golf or academic abilities.

“College Match” compares a student-athletes’ data to over 2,200 college golf programs across the country to deliver a list of the ten ‘closest’ college matches. The feature considers GPA, standardized test scores, tournament results, scoring averages and more. JGH’s priority algorithm automatically updates the recommended list of programs as members make changes to their profiles.

At just $129 per year, all members have full access to the platform which helps connect recruits with college golf coaches through tailored, searchable online profiles. Player pages present to coaches their athletic measurables such as verified tournament scores, swing speed, tournament schedules and academic information such as GPA, test scores and academic honors.

A membership to JGH, which also tracks a player’s growth and development as they move through their junior golf journey, is not only a beneficial tool for burgeoning young golfers, but it also hosts an invaluable suite of resources and education that supports parents throughout the complicated process of recruiting. 

Outside of the A.I.-powered College Match, JGH has a “Find a College” function with filters that narrow down results based on the program’s scoring average, acceptable test scores, tuition, majors offered, size of enrollment and more. College golf hopefuls are instantly notified via JGH mobile app or desktop portal when a collegiate program starts following them.

To date, nearly 10,000 athletes have created a profile on JGH, while more than 1,000 members have gone on to play golf at an NCAA DI, DII, DIII or NAIA school. The current collegiate database consists of 2,300 men’s and women’s golf programs.
