Agustin Pizá and Brandel Chamblee Kick Off the 2022 Golf Business Conference

Pizá and Chamblee will share how their design philosophies and golf courses bring new golfers to the game

(SAN DIEGO, CA) – Pizá Chamblee Golf Design, a recently formed partnership between award-winning architect Agustin (Augie) Pizá and Golf Channel analyst Brandel Chamblee, confirmed today that the duo will officially kick-off the 2022 Golf Business Conference with former on-air Golf Channel personality and former chief communications officer of the LPGA Kraig Kann. The fireside chat will be held at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando, FL on Monday, January 24th from 8:00pm to 9:00pm in the Executive H Ballroom.

Kann, the moderator, will lead the discussion coined, “The Pizá Effect: The Passion Begins When You Live the Experience.” This topic is designed to awaken the audience’s views of what creativity can do to not only drive renewed interest with existing golfers, but also bring new golfers to the game through exciting, visually stunning, and playable courses.

“Augie is a man with a strong vision striving in his design philosophy to create golf courses and golf experiences that will thrill the enthusiast and activist alike, while offering to those without a traditional golf background an introduction to the game,” said Chamblee.

The fireside chat format was chosen to create a casual and relaxed setting for the moderator, guest speakers and for the audience. The team encourage attendees to participate and present questions that can expand upon the topic.

“This is an exciting opportunity for Brandel and I. Our goal is to grow the game of golf and encourage innovation. If any the attendees act on our suggestions, and recommendations, we’ve accomplished this,” said Pizá. “I invite you all to save the date and attend.”

This informative “The Pizá Effect: The Passion Begins When You Live the Experience” fireside chat is eligible for continuing education credits from the PGA of America, Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA), Club Management Association of America (CMAA), and the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA).
