Hamilton Farm Golf Club in Gladstone, NJ Named 2021 ‘Club of the Year’ by NJPGA

Award recognizes Hamilton Farm’s exceptional service and amenities as well as its outstanding contributions to the game of golf in the Garden State

(Gladstone, NJ) — Hamilton Farm Golf Club, a historic property featuring a premier two-course golf facility located in the scenic hills of Somerset County, NJ, proudly announces that it was recently named the 2021 ‘Club of the Year’ by the New Jersey PGA of America (NJPGA). The prestigious award recognizes a club for its contributions to golf in New Jersey and its support of the New Jersey PGA and New Jersey Golf Foundation.

In addition to hosting the state’s renowned NJPGA Pro-Scratch and NJPGA Peter Famiano Pro-Am tournaments in 2021, Hamilton Farm’s hosting and support of several charitable member-guest events throughout the summer of 2021 raised nearly $15,000 for the New Jersey Golf Foundation and patriotic Folds of Honor Foundation. Staff members at Hamilton Farm actively participate in and promote weekly NJPGA section events, and the club’s popular ‘Litter Chippers’ and ‘Junior Golf’ programs for young people – supported by Nick Bova, Hamilton Farm’s Director of Instruction and 2020 NJPGA Teacher of the Year, and the club's team of pros – are helping a new generation of New Jerseyans to embrace the joy of golf and develop a lifelong love of the game.

“Hamilton Farm Golf Club delivers a one-of-a-kind experience from the moment you arrive at the property to the time you leave and we’re extremely proud to have been named 2021 Club of the Year by the NJPGA,” shared Hamilton Farm General Manager Michael Ferguson. “From our world-class Hurdzan and Fry Highlands and Hickory golf courses to the exceptional service provided by our experienced and dedicated team members, Hamilton Farm Golf Club is second to none in the state – both in terms of the caliber of golf, the commitment to excellence by our staff, and the warmth, support, and camaraderie of our membership. We thank the NJPGA for this outstanding recognition and remain committed to delivering a best-in-class experience to our members, the community, and the golf industry in New Jersey for years to come.”

“We’re so honored to have been named Club of the Year by the NJPGA for the second time in three years and now the third time since 2012,” agreed Hamilton Farm Membership Director Erin Walsh.  “Among other activities, Hamilton Farm was delighted to be able to give back to the Section and the New Jersey Golf Foundation through our inaugural charity Member-Guest tournament this June.  Our Members’ support was tremendous and we look forward to hosting again in the future.”

“Hamilton Farm has invested in a broad range of upgrades to club operations over the last several years to ensure that it remains a world-class establishment and our receipt of the NJPGA’s 2021 ‘Club of the Year’ Award helps validate our efforts,” confirmed Club Owner David Townsend.  “We extend our sincere thanks to the NJPGA for this elite honor and congratulate our Hamilton Farm staff and members for achieving this outstanding designation.”

Hamilton Farm will be recognized as the NJPGA’s 2021 Club of the Year at the NJPGA Section Fall Meeting at Fiddler's Elbow Country Club in Bedminster, NJ on October 25th and at the Celebration of Golf Dinner at Canoe Brook Country Club in Summit, NJ on October 28th.
