(HARRIS, Michigan) – A sister amenity to Sweetgrass Golf Club, a Symetra Tour “Road to the LPGA” host venue, Drift Spa will debut in spring 2016, part of an $8 million Island Resort and Casino expansion project that includes an upgraded indoor pool and fitness center with sauna and steam rooms.
When unveiled – date to be announced soon – guests will experience a refreshing, tranquil oasis where they can soak in the soothing sights and sounds of nature. Whether for a massage, pedicure or haircut, Drift Spa allows guests to escape and indulge.
Drift Spa offers treatments and special occasion events for everyone – bridal pamper sessions, birthday gifts, post-golf massages for players of the resort’s acclaimed Sweetgrass Golf Club, girls getaways, corporate rewards and more.
“Through the years, the Hannahville Indian Community has undertaken projects to enhance and promote the Island Resort and Casino, making us a leader in the Midwest gaming, resort, spa, golf and entertainment arena, as well as offering employment opportunities to more than 800 people,” says Tribal Chairman Ken Meshigaud. “We remain committed to both as we re-invest in the operation, offering more high-quality options to our guests.”
Drift Spa enables guests to immerse themselves in a “total experience,” says General Manager Tony Mancilla. “We are excited about these new amenities, and we believe our full-service resort destination will appeal to customers near and far.”
