The Grain Kicks Off Summer with Cool, Thirst-Quenching U.S. Open Coverage

(Portland, Ore.) – Golf Media Network and The A Position have gone live with the U.S. Open edition of The Grain.  The electronic publication will be delivered to nearly 2 million readers via partnerships with 35 state and provincial golf associations as well as through other partners, including Shotzoom, makers of leading golf GPS apps GolfShot and TOURCaddie; and National Golf Management, which owns and operates some of the best golf courses in Myrtle Beach.

The U.S. Open edition includes the ever-popular handicapping guide to the tournament; a travel feature detailing a first-time visit to the great golf courses along South Carolina’s Grand Strand (not far from the action at Pinehurst); a true-crime-style tale of the broken U.S. Open trophy; an “A-List” of the best U.S. Opens ever; and additional instruction, photos, video, and general golfy fun. Readers of the current edition will also have the chance to win a print of Pinehurst Number Two’s ninth hole, by award-winning artist Linda Hartough.
