The PGA Tour Heads to Las Vegas for the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open
Titleist Brand Ambassador and defending champion Webb Simpson understands the importance of keeping pace with the field by taking advantage of all scoring opportunities.
"The main thing is I made a lot of putts, and you've got to do that this week. There's three par‑5s, all reachable, and a reachable par‑4. So you really have to take advantage of the short holes and make putts," said Simpson.
This week also marks the second straight start for Titleist Brand Ambassador Jarrod Lyle after a 2 1/2 year battle with leukemia. Jarrod earned his spot in this weeks field thanks to a strong finish at last weeks Frys.com Open.
"Last week was nice, going out there and Monday qualifying and getting my first start back in over two and a half years...it just showed me that everything that I've been doing off the course and on the course is starting to come through" Said Lyle.
