Special 60 Player, 36-Hole Event to showcase Top Professional Golf Talent
(Myrtle Beach, S.C) – The SwingThought.com Tour (formerly the NGA/Hooters Tour) announced a partnership with the Magnolia Bluffs Casino and Beau Pre Country Club in Natchez, Mississippi to host a special 60 player 36-hole professional event and Pro Am to take place Nov. 3 through 7. The event, titled the Magnolia Bluffs Casino Beau Pre Bayou Bash, will take place prior to the start of the second stage of Web.com Tour Q School. The event also takes place the same week as the Sanderson Farms Championship in Jackson, Miss., just a short drive away, providing those professionals who aren’t able to play their way into the PGA TOUR event an alternative championship event to compete in during the week.
“We couldn’t be more excited to have such a special event hosted Magnolia Bluffs and Beau Pre Country Club and the fact that the event is so close to the Sanderson Farms Championship is a definite plus for professionals trying to reach the next level,” said Robin L. Waters, SwingThought.com Tour president. “Players can now come to Jackson and try to play their way into a PGA TOUR event and, if they are unsuccessful, they will still be able to compete during the week on a championship course with a top notch sponsor who is willing to do whatever it takes to give them a top professional event experience.”
