FarmLinks at Pursell Farms Offers Savings on Golf, Gas and Lodging

(SYLACAUGA, ALABAMA) - FarmLinks at Pursell Farms – set on 3,500 pristine acres less than 50 miles from Birmingham – is offering enticing packages this fall, including the 2011 “Pull Off and Play” Package.

The “Pull Off and Play” Package provides a complimentary $10 gas gift card for each daily green fee purchased. As part of the package, club rentals are available for just $10 per golfer.

FarmLinks is Alabama’s top-ranked, public-access golf course and features all-day golf rates for $135 before 10:30 a.m., $125 between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m., $115 between 11:30 and 1 p.m. and $100 after 1 p.m. Green fees include unlimited golf and use of the practice facilities, range balls, cart, a Southern-style lunch, snacks, beverages and ice-cold apples on the course.

FarmLinks is also offering a Pursell Farms Quail Package that provides great value for hunters and golfers alike. The one-night, quail package for two people starts at $525 per person (double occupancy) and includes quail hunt, guide, dogs, transportation to and from fields, breakfast, lunch, dinner, unlimited snacks, non-alcoholic beverages and luxury accommodations at FarmLinks' cottages and cabins.

Hunters can add a second night and an additional half-day hunt for a total of $725. Golfers can enhance the experience by playing golf for $75. A session of clay shooting at FarmLinks’ five-stand sporting clays range can be added for $30. This offer is good through Jan. 31, 2012.

In addition to quail hunting, FarmLinks also offers guided hunting for deer (November-January) and dove (September). Guests can also fish year-round for largemouth bass or bream in FarmLinks’ expertly designed lakes. The five-stand sporting clays range is also open year-round.
