NBC Sports Next Announces New, All-in-One Way to Book Golf Travel

GolfPass Integrates BookSeats.com Technology for One-Stop Shopping for Airline Flights, Hotels and Tee Times at More Than 11,000 Golf Courses Worldwide

(ORLANDO, Fla.) – NBC Sports Next  today announced a new partnership with BookSeats.com, expanding the NBC Sports tech division’s travel offerings through its GolfPass website. The collaboration will provide the golf industry’s first, end-to-end travel package booking experience that offers a simplified, one-stop online destination for golfers to book their next golf trip, including airlines, hotels and tee times at more than 11,000 golf courses worldwide.

BookSeats becomes the preferred booking engine solution for GolfPass. Visitors to the Golf Trips page on GolfPass now can see airline and hotel inventory and pricing in real-time and can search for and book a round of golf at any golf course posting tee times within the GolfNow marketplace, including renowned U.S. courses like the four courses at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida; Seaview Golf Club, coast and woodlands golf near Atlantic City; Legends Golf Resort in Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Turning Stone Resort & Casino in New York State; Bali Hai Golf Club, the only championship course on the Las Vegas Strip; Troon North Golf Club, classic desert golf in Scottsdale, Ariz.; and a host of international destinations.

“This is unprecedented for the golf industry,” said Jerramy Hainline, Senior Vice President, GolfNow. “Integrating BookSeats technology within GolfPass will allow golfers to build the elements of their next trip in one place and at the same time, eliminating all the time-consuming visits to multiple airline, hotel and golf course websites. It’s a gamechanger for the traveling golfer.”

“Golfers have historically been underserved when trying to coordinate their golf vacations,” said Joseph DeMarinis, Founder & CEO, Bookseats.com. “At BookSeats.com we knew our technology could solve this gap in the industry, however there was only one tee time reservation system that had access to the global golf course inventory, and that was GolfNow. We are extremely excited about this partnership and the ability to unlock this feature to help simplify the booking experience for the traveling golfer.”
