G2 Academy Appoints Augustin Pizá as Expansion Advocate

This relationship will provide young women from Latin America an opportunity to train for competitive golf, college and more importantly empower them for their future

(PUERTO VALLARTA, MEXICO) – Pizá Golf, recognized internationally for their innovative approach to golf course architecture which blends traditional British fundamentals with contemporary innovative designs from North America – is proud to announce that company founder and director, Agustin (Augie) Pizá , has committed to an expanded role with the G2 Academy team. His vision is to create awareness for the G2 Academy in Latin America, so young women in the area will have access to a program that can forever change their lives.

“This is a privilege! To work with the G2 Academy is pretty special. I am a ‘Girl Dad’ and I want the same opportunities for my daughter as my sons. This program is comprehensive but the real deal is that the program wants their female golfers to succeed on and off the course. They develop these young women to be the next generation of leaders,” said Pizá.

The G2 Academy was founded to provide a competitive, distraction-free environment where it is all about the girls. The mission is to provide a comprehensive program designed to build a well-rounded young woman ready for the rigors of college golf and the challenges presented to this new generation of female leaders. The program builds confidence through athletic success as well as offers female oriented training in self-defense, leadership, meditation and empowerment. Our graduates receive scholarships to colleges and universities of their choice and are also better prepared for the world beyond.

“We are thrilled with Augie’s interest and support of the G2 Academy. It is so exciting and we look forward to his impact and opportunities his involvement will have on aspiring collegiate player from Mexico and Latin America,” said G2 Founder and CEO, Ray Travaglione.

Pizá has been recognized as one of the Mexico’s “Most Creative Mexicans in World” – Forbes 2020 and the “Top 100 Architects in Mexico” – Top Magazine. He also is the Director of the First Tee in Mexico. “My goal here is for young women in Latin America to know about this amazing program. If it takes my work or benefits thereof, I want to use that so they will be heard, seen and opportunities presented, added Pizá.
