Partnering to ship custom adaptive golf equipment for wounded military veterans
(RELEASE) - Ship Sticks, the world’s largest golf bag shipping company, announces they have partnered with the Salute Military Golf Association to ship custom adaptive equipment for wounded military veterans.
The Salute Military Golf Association provides rehabilitative golf programs and experiences for post 9/11 wounded war veterans in an effort to improve quality of life. Ship Sticks offers a door-to-door shipping solution for golfers who desire a hassle-free travel experience.
“Teaming up with the Salute Military Golf Association is a no-brainer,” says Nicholas Coleman, CEO, Ship Sticks. “We are excited to partner with the SMGA to simplify the way their members travel.”
The Salute Military Golf Association sends their wounded veteran members across the world on once-in-a-lifetime golf trips. Most recently, wounded combat veterans attended this year’s Masters Tournament in Augusta, GA as well as the Monday After the Masters event in Myrtle Beach, SC. “Joining forces with Ship Sticks allows us to focus time, energy, and association resources on other aspects of our veterans’ experiences, improving our overall offering,” said Dan Pflieger, Executive Director, SMGA.
“I can’t thank Ship Sticks enough for helping ship my golf clubs to this year’s Monday After the Masters event. It made my travel so much easier,” said SMGA Member Joseph Moore (Staff Sgt. – US Army)
