(San Marcos, CA) - Cathedral Canyon Golf Club recently announced that PGA Professional Brian Miano has accepted the position of General Manager. Miano will be working closely with golf course management company, JC Resorts, on continuous plans to improve amenities, programs and service at Cathedral Canyon Golf Club.
“We are very excited to have Brian join our team of professionals at Cathedral Canyon,” said Erik Johnson, Director of Operations for JC Golf. “Brian brings over 15 years of industry experience along with the perfect skill set to facilitate the continual improvements taking place at Cathedral Canyon.”
Miano is a PGA Certified Professional and Class A Member. He has held positions as General Manager at the Yucaipa Valley Golf Club in Yucaipa, California and the Desert Rose Golf Course in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“I’m looking forward to the opportunity to work with JC Resorts and the team at Cathedral Canyon,” said Miano. “Our goal is to provide high quality service and a great golfing experience to residents and guests in the Coachella Valley for years to come.”
Located at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains near Palm Springs, Cathedral Canyon Golf Club was designed in the early 1970s by renowned Southern California architect David Rainville and hall of fame golfer Billy Casper. Today the course is host to a full array of golf amenities including championship golf, a pro shop, lessons, tournaments and a full-service restaurant called The Grille Room.
With substantial reinvestment in the property the past year, the facility has transformed into one of the best values in the valley. Cathedral Canyon now features brand new EZGO golf carts to compliment optimal course conditions that are a result of the favorable weather the course experienced during the over-seeding process. In addition, several upgrades were made to the clubhouse including new televisions, furniture and a fully stocked golf shop.
