GolfStyles Magazine's Poll Details Top Golf Courses in New Jersey

New Jersey's top public and private golf facilities are published in GolfStyles Magazine

(Vineland, NJ) - NJ's best private and public golf courses and country clubs are listed in GolfStyles New Jersey's Fall 2013 issue and on the best courses website at www.golfstylesnj-bestcourses.com. In the issue, courses across The Garden State are ranked based upon an online survey of golfers across the tri-state region based on various criteria.

Followers of GolfStyles Magazine were asked to select not only the best public and private courses but also select their favorites in numerous categories such as favorite course to play, most affordable, friendliest, most picturesque, best family club, top instructor, favorite golf pro, best cuisine, top golf course management, top superintendent, best at the Jersey shore, and best golf resort.

Not surprisingly, Pine Valley Country Club was chosen Best Private Course by readers but, in the Favorite Private Club division, The Ridge at Back Brook finished first in that category. In the category for Best Bargain Private Facility, Little Mill Country Club was voted number one. Galloway National was voted number one as New Jersey's Most Scenic golf course.

In the category of Top Public Golf Club, venerable Atlantic City Country Club ranked on top, followed by Cape May County's Shore Gate Golf Club. Atlantic City also placed 1st in Best Course at the Jersey Shore, Best Cuisine and Best Course Conditions and Most Scenic categories. In the Favorite Course category, Crystal Spring Resort's Ballyowen Golf Club placed in the top spot.

The Garden State has long been known as the site of some of the country's top golf courses with more than 300 public and private courses scattered from Cape May County to the mountains of Sussex County. With a brand new generation of world-class courses scattered across the state, NJ continues to build on its image as the top destination for golfers who want to experience the best the sport has to offer and a state that has hosted both top professional and amateur events for well over one century.

"Our magazine was pleased to host this online survey of golfers as a way to promote the exceptional facilities in our state," said Gerald Covella, President/Publisher of GolfStyles New Jersey Magazine. "The opinions reflect an educated group of men and women who enjoy the courses across the state and aprreciate the quality of golf that The Garden State has to offer those individuals who love the sport."
