Longaberger Golf Club Offers $125 Stay and Play March Special to celebrate “Madness” Season

St. Patrick’s Day Scramble, Regular Season Rates Also Released

(NASHPORT, Ohio) – Longaberger Golf Club, the No. 1-ranked public golf course in Ohio, has released early-bird March rates starting at $59 per golfer per round, or $125 per person for two rounds and a midweek overnight stay, from now until April 3.

Taking advantage of early spring weather and the Buckeyes’ race to the Final Four, these March specials offer as much as 35 percent savings over in-season rates, which normally range from $64-$99 per round or $163 - $199 for golf stay-and-play options during the April – October high season. Reservations can be made by calling 740-763-1100.

The public course is within easy driving distance of both Dayton and Cleveland, which will host NCAA basketball tournament play.

“We’re known for offering one of the best values in golf at a Top-100 ranked course in the country, and we’re proud to keep our rates affordable for everyone,” says Danny Ackerman, general manager of the golf club. The facility also has a 65,000 sq. ft. clubhouse with a restaurant and bar that are ready for those to wish to watch any game.

Those in the region can also take advantage of a $1,000 reduction in Season Pass memberships for 2011, offering unlimited golf at the course for $2,200 this year for one person. Corporate passes are also available. All pass holders also receive 20 percent off of food and merchandise at the club, as well as unlimited range balls and club storage. See www.longabergergolfclub.com/Central-Ohio-Golf-Memberships.html for more information.

Golfers of all playing abilities will also enjoy a friendly two-person team St. Patrick’s Day Scramble that will take place on Thursday, March 17 at 10 a.m. Golfers can register by calling 740-763-1100 x 222; the $60 per person rate includes golf, lunch and an opportunity to win prizes. It is open to the public.

In late 2010, Golf Magazine noted Longaberger as “Worth Your Money” in its annual national Top 100 course ranking. The golf club froze 2010 rates for the 2011 season. Guests can also sign up for email special offers throughout the season on the course’s website, longabergergolfclub.com.
