Brynwood to Host 2014 PGA MET SECTION Professional-Assistant Championship

(Armonk, NY) - Brynwood Golf & Country Club in Armonk, NY has been selected to host the 2014 PGA MET Section Professional-Assistant Championship April 14. One of the PGA Met Section’s most popular and respected championships will be contested at Brynwood for the first time. This annual prestigious event will showcase the most talented golf professionals from the Metropolitan region.

More than 200 golf professionals will complete the championship field, including PGA TOUR, Web.com Tour and PGA major championship players. Among those professionals competing for the title are: 2013 PGA Championship competitor Rob Labritz from GlenArbor; 2013 PGA Championship competitor Danny Balin from Burning Tree; PGA Tour competitor Charlie Meola from Saxon Woods; U.S. Open competitor Mike Gilmore, Winged Foot; and three time champion Carl Alexander from The Golf Club of Purchase.
