(Maumee, OH) - aboutGolf and its new leadership team had a busy fourth quarter preparing for this month's Consumer Electronic Show, International Builders Show and the PGA Merchandise show. Each show will include the PGA TOUR simulator and its new 1400 series technology with enhanced graphics and increased accuracy.
The 1400 series includes a new Onyx software release, new courses, games, online updates, and supporting technology.
"The 1400 series is our biggest update to date and now offers aG Data online lockers with club fitting which lets you easily compare club performance and your overall game from year to year," said Randall Henry, CEO of aboutGolf. "We are looking forward to introducing the best technology available in a golf simulator at this month's shows."
Other features of the 1400 series include the World Long Drive competition range grid as a practice venue, a new Eagle Challenge game, a competition course which brings a new twist to the classic event closest to the pin and long drive contests.
Henry adds, "The simulation will feature grid ranges, so you and your friends can compete on the biggest stage for long drive competitors as you may have seen on the Golf Channel."
aboutGolf is excited to announce the exclusive availability of the following award-winning Kohler courses, including the future venue of the 2020 Ryder Cup:
- The Irish at Whistling Straits
- The River at Blackwolf Run
- The Meadow Valleys at Blackwolf Run
- Original Championship Course at Blackwolf Run
"These courses are world famous for their design and have staged many PGA Tour events," said Henry. "The Straits Course played host to the 2004, 2010 and 2015 PGA Championship, the 2007 U.S Senior Open."
Last but not least, the aboutGolf Tour card enables users quick access to their aG Data accounts and preferences.
