A Culinary Odyssey Debuts at Quivira Los Cabos

All-inclusive package highlights resort’s top dining experiences and The Towers at Pacifica

(LOS CABOS, Mexico) – The Towers at Pacifica, the deluxe 47-suite “resort within a resort” at Quivira Los Cabos, has cooked up a Culinary Odyssey package for the most passionate gourmands.

The fabulous five-day, four-night Culinary Odyssey brings together the finest dining venues within the Quivira Los Cabos luxury resort community. Guests of Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort stay in a beautifully appointed Tower Suite, with a private plunge pool and 24-hour butler service, personalized soaps and fragrances, as well as exclusive access to the VIP Whale Watching Lounge for breakfast, light bites and cocktails.

The Culinary Odyssey package includes four lavish dinner experiences, starting with a six-course tasting menu and wine pairings dinner at La Frida. Dedicated to Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, this elegant, candlelit dining room, decorated with reproductions of Kahlo’s paintings, serves classic yet inventive Mexican cuisine. Many of the wines selected for this exceptional dinner, including red, white and rose varietals, are drawn from Mexico’s Guadalupe Valley in Baja California Norte, an award-winning appellation.

Another dinner showcases Peninsula, a beachfront restaurant specializing in regional cuisine that highlights the bounty of Baja’s freshest seafood and finest local produce. Peninsula affords expansive views of the beach, sea and sky, as well as an a la carte dinner menu that includes a choice of three different ceviches and a variety of fish, poultry and meat entrees.

Quivira Steakhouse offers lovely indoor/outdoor dining at Quivira Golf Club’s thatched roof clubhouse. This beachside restaurant is an elegant, al fresco dining spot at night. The Culinary Odyssey menu includes a surf & turf entrée with paired wines. These include a Sauvignon Blanc from California, a Cabernet Sauvignon / Merlot blend from Chihuahua, and three wines selected from the Guadalupe Valley, Mexico’s answer to Napa Valley.

The fourth dinner option offers a choice of customized experiences, such as a romantic dinner for two on the beach under the stars, which includes a tequila and mezcal tasting guided by the resort’s spirits sommelier.

The Culinary Odyssey package starts at $4,375 USD for two.

Culinary Odyssey package guests also have access to more than a dozen other restaurants at the Pacifica, Sunset Beach and Montecristo (the resort hotels all within the Quivira Los Cabos property), as well as at either of the downtown resort locations, Pueblo Bonito Rose, or Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos.

True culinary aficionados will not want to miss The Market at Quivira, the gastronomic food hall at Sunset Beach, where guests sample a variety of cuisines, from Asian to Italian, or relax in an authentic American 1950s-style diner. The Market also offers healthy options (cold-pressed juices to vegan dishes) at Perfect Balance, a new wellness bar, while sports fans can gather at The After at Quivira, a classic American gastropub with comfort food, craft beers on draft, an array of specialty cocktails and nearly a dozen large-screen TVs.

Additional culinary options include an Orchard Cooking Class, where guests create a meal using herbs and other ingredients grown on site; and “Hook and Cook” (catch it by day, cook it by night). The Los Cabos Walking Culinary Tour invites guests to explore Cabo’s culinary hot spots and bars on a tour guided by their butler. (Package pricing does not include consumption in downtown establishments during the culinary walking tour).
