Lynx Golf Unveils Black Cat Line

(Weybridge, Surrey, UK) – Lynx Golf – the iconic equipment brand trusted by multiple major championship winners over its storied history – introduces the next generation of its famous Black Cat line of clubs, which will be available at select retail channels and online beginning in mid-April.

Black Cat has been designed for the discerning golfer who is looking for superior performance coupled with beautiful aesthetics that harken back to the pinnacle of the Lynx brand.  State-of-the-art technology provides unrivaled ball speeds with remarkable forgiveness while the updated styling brings an icon of the past into the modern era. The collection consists of new models in the driver, fairway wood, hybrid and iron categories to maximize performance throughout the bag.

“Lynx Golf is a brand whose reputation has been built on the back of high-performing, aesthetically pleasing equipment for golfers of all skill levels,” says Stephanie Zinser, CFO and co-owner of Lynx Golf. “The Black Cat line is just the latest in a long list of exciting equipment that is reviving Lynx’s sterling reputation in the United States.”

The new line features innovations unique to the Lynx brand:
- Effective Energy Transfer –Each driver, fairway wood and hybrid is engineered this proprietary technology designed to disperse energy across the club face, offering greater forgiveness on off-centre hits.
- Weight Bar System – Found in the line’s driver and fairway woods, the system transfers weight from the front to the back of the clubhead, giving players control over their preferred launch and spin rate.
- Hollow Head Technology with Variable Face Thickness – each iron distributes weight across the hitting surface while a polymer-filled hollow cavity in the head allows for one of the thinnest forged faces in the industry. This provides more effective energy transfer across the face for increased ball speeds and a higher, more stable MOI throughout the set. Available in high polished steel or black PVD finishes, the Black Cat irons provide the performance golfers expect from one of the sports most storied names, in an attractive, modern package.

“The Black Cat brand has always been synonymous with quality and performance, and now it’s back and better than ever,” says Steve Elford, CEO and co-owner of Lynx Golf. “Our engineers have worked tirelessly to create a cohesive line that looks incredible, and more importantly, outperforms anything our competitors are offering.”
