March 9-10 Event to Feature Area’s Top Artists, Musicians, Authors
(HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla.) – More than 20,000 visitors are expected to flock to the 42nd Leesburg Art Festival, which since 1977 has been hosting artists, musicians and authors for a magical weekend in central Florida, Saturday and Sunday, March 9 and 10, located just 13 miles northwest of Howey-in-the-Hills and Mission Inn Resort & Club.
Featuring more than 100 visual and performing artists, the 2019 family-friendly event lineup will include a Literary Arts Festival with 15 authors, Makers and Farmers Market, Student Art Exhibit, as well as live music, interactive art stations, the Leesburg Art League’s annual show, and more. Staging the Festival is the Leesburg Center for the Arts, which has cultivated an artistic community since its founding in 2000.
