The tournament will be played Friday, Feb. 22, on Dye’s Valley Course at TPC Sawgrass, co-designed by Pete Dye and Bobby Weed, in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. Over the years, Pete Dye and Deane Beman have served as co-hosts of the event with Weed. The HEAL Foundation has granted over $2 million locally, assisting thousands of children, teens and adults through specialized programs, camps, educational enhancements and service dogs, as well as iPads, giving individuals with autism, a voice.
The event will open with the “HEAL Gala” fundraiser, to be held Thursday, Feb. 21, at the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse. Drinks and dinner will be served in a festive setting with live music, dancing and a live auction. The event will feature a performance by the 7 Street Band. Guests also will enjoy a live and silent auction, dinner and drinks. Tickets are $150 each and may be purchased at HealAutismNow.org.
“Autism continues to affect many families,” Bobby Weed said, “and the need is dire. We invite you to join us in supporting the HEAL fundraiser and our ongoing mission to assist those with autism.
“The Bobby Weed Golf Gig is special because the tournament is played on Dye’s Valley Course, which I co-designed with my mentor, Pete Dye.”
