Srixon Signs Women’s No. 1 World Amateur

(HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA) – Srixon announced that amateur sensation Minjee Lee has agreed to terms on a multi-year contract. No additional details regarding the contract were made available.

The eighteen-year-old Australian became the number one ranked amateur golfer in February of 2014 after winning the Oates Victorian Open on the ALPG Tour with her reign ending when she turned professional in September.  Lee won the 2012 U.S. Girls' Junior and the Australian Women's Amateur in 2013 and successfully defended the title in 2014.

Lee receives a 2015 US LPGA Tour card as the co-medalist at the US LPGA Q-school last Sunday. “Now that I’m officially part of the LPGA Tour I feel really good,” said Lee. “I am relieved that I am finished and I am excited to play next year on the Tour.”

Lee will play Srixon golf balls, Srixon and XXIO golf clubs, wear Srixon golf gloves and headwear with the Srixon logo, and carry Srixon golf bags.
