COBRA PUMA GOLF Announces New Vice President of R&D

Tom Olsavsky Joins COBRA Golf To Lead Future Club Innovation

(CARLSBAD, CA) – COBRA PUMA GOLF announced today that Tom Olsavsky has joined the COBRA Golf team as Vice President of research and development. Olsavsky brings over 23 years of diverse R&D experience to CPG, having spent the last seven years at Taylormade-adidas Golf where he was instrumental in the company’s growth. His addition supports the strategic direction of the COBRA Golf brand and will bring a unique point of view and diverse skill set to the leadership team.

Olsavsky was the Senior Director of Product Creation at Taylormade, where he led multiple teams in product design, R&D and engineering to create a number of successful products across multiple product categories, with his most recent success coming in metalwoods development. Additionally, Olsavsky has held several other managerial positions within the golf industry. He spent six years at Titleist as the senior golf club engineer, where he was responsible for the research and development of new club programs.
