(Scottsdale, Ariz.) – Troon, the world’s largest golf and hospitality management company has been selected to manage and operate the Scorpion Bay Grill located in Scorpion Bay at Lake Pleasant in Peoria, Arizona. Troon’s food and beverage division manages more than 90 restaurants located at golf resorts, private clubs, daily fee golf courses and recreational facilities around the world.
In October 2015, Desert Troon Companies, a Scottsdale-based real estate development and investment firm, signed an agreement with the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors to take over Scorpion Bay Marina’s concession operations for the next 25 years. The agreement transferred the marina, its 300 wet slips, the Scorpion Bay Grill, a ship store and the surrounding 200 acres around the bay to Desert Troon. In addition, Desert Troon will look to expand and improve the marina over the life of the agreement.
