The PGA TOUR visits Wilmington, N.C. in May |
Visitors can get inspired by the pros and enjoy a golf getaway to Wilmington to enjoy several area golf courses, along with the gracious Southern charm of the city that was voted America¹s Best Riverfront. Centrally located on the East Coast, Wilmington is North Carolina's most accessible coastal destination, with easy access whether traveling by car or flying in and out of Wilmington International Airport (ILM). With one destination and four unique settings including three nearby beaches, golfers can choose from a variety of attractions, entertainment and a vibrant nightlife scene when they're off the links.

In addition to a number of private courses including the exclusive Eagle Point Golf Club, host of the 2017 Wells Fargo Championship there are five public courses in Wilmington. Porter's Neck Country Club boasts a Tom Fazio-designed course staffed by PGA professionals. The Wilmington Municipal Golf Course (known as "The Muni" by locals) offers a Donald Ross course that recently underwent a $1.5 million renovation.
