(OAKBROOK TERRACE, IL) — Zero Friction’s new Wheel Pro STRIDE golf bag was a hit among attendees and media at last week’s PGA Show in Orlando.
While being interviewed on the Golf Channel by Matt Adams, Zero Friction Founder and President John Iacono said, “We spent a lot of time on (the Stride bag). It has a remote control, a 36-hole battery; and it will walk within three feet of you, and in pace to keep up with your own stride.”
Weighing 35 pounds, STRIDE includes a built in intelligent gyroscopic control system for stability, speed control and soft start. The bag is able to handle all terrain including steep uphill slopes and tall grass.
TV Host Adams said, “It looks exciting and it looks a lot of fun, particularly for the people that want to try to get out on the golf course and get a little more exercise.”
Other features include an average speed of 3 mph (max. 5 mph), an autobrake system and a smart gearbox. Plus, the STRIDE bag has plenty of room, including 14 club dividers, 2 waterproof pockets, 2 towel/accessory rings, 1 umbrella holder, and a built-in cooler which can hold up to 6 cans; as well as 2 invisible magnets to secure your rangefinder and Bluetooth speaker.
The bag is available in black or gray at a MSRP of $2199. The quick release 10-inch all terrain wheels allow easy storage.

Zero Friction, LLC’s Wheel Pro Push Cart bag received an award at the 29th Annual ING Industry Honors Awards Program for Top Product in the Product Ingenuity – Accessories/Soft Goods category.
The program is conducted by the non-profit International Network Of Golf to recognize outstanding achievement in the golf business. ING is a not-for-profit, media-based networking organization – “where media connects with the golf industry.”
The Wheel Pro Push Cart bag, which was released in 2022, is a three in one product. “It’s a carry stand bag that quickly and simply converts to a push cart or can be put on back of a motor cart,” said Iacono. “And it only weighs 10 pounds.”
The Wheel Pro Push Cart has a single strap, six full-length dividers and seven zippered pockets. Plus, it includes an umbrella holder and bag head cover. The new golf bag is available in three color choices: black/gray, gray/black, navy/white at a MSRP of $349.99.
“It’s super easy to use,” said Iacono. “The push handle is attached to the top of the bag and adjusts to the angle best for the user. And the wheels are removed with the push of one simple lever.”
